No refunds.
Knowing the reason code for your background check is your responsibility.
We will have you verify all data entered into the system before submission.
NO SHOW:
If you fail to be present at your Ohio background check appointment, you automatically forfeit your slot AND payment if you pre-paid. Extenuating circumstances may validate an opportunity to reschedule your appointment ONCE in the event of an APPOINTMENT NO SHOW.We only accept, cash, credit cards, debit cards, or money orders. We do not accept personal checks, or business checks under any circumstances. Money orders can be made out to Local Fingerprints for payment.
Late arrivals- we will wait up to 15 minutes for your arrival. During this time we will attempt to reach you by the telephone number provided on your reservation. If we are unable to reach you within 15 minutes of the appointment, we will cancel your slot. Repeat issues or cancellation can lead to not being able to book online in the future with Local Fingerprints.

What do I need to bring with me?
You need to bring a photo ID that includes your date of birth, and address.
The name and address of the employer, company, organization, or agency where the results will be sent.
The agency, business, or company requesting that you have your fingerprints taken should provide you with a reason code for your prints. We will not provide the code on their behalf for you under any circumstances.

When will my results be sent to the requesting party?
Results can take 30-60 days to be sent to the requesting party. They will be mailed to the address provided on your background check submission from the Ohio Attorney General BCI team in Columbus, OH. Local Fingerprints does not mail the results at all.
If the results are not receieved within 30 days, feel free to reach out to the Ohio Attorney General to check the status at 877-224-0043.
We also cannot and do not see the results of your background check. That information is disclosed in the letter/information sent to the requesting party that you authorized to receive the results.
We do not know if you have a warrant! Please contact local law enforcement if you need to verify. You may also be able to see any public records on local county/sheriff’s office websites.
